Unlike a dirndl, they feature a feminine, often short to knee-length cut made of genuine leather, giving them a sportier and more relaxed look amidst the festive atmosphere. Two types of leather define our women's leather trousers: buckskin and nappa leather . You'll feel the difference immediately when you pick them up. Buckskin is soft and, in many models, is additionally waxed, creating the characteristic iridescent surface known as "ashed" or "stained," in shades such as stone-ashed, grain-stained, or oak-stained. Nappa leather, on the other hand, has a smoother appearance and is primarily found in classic black models. We use only 100% genuine leather in all our products .

The workmanship is evident in several details:

• a handmade flat embroidery , partly based on a Bavarian pattern
• delicate embroidery and contrasting piping
• Horn and classic traditional costume buttons
• Some models are additionally hand-greased or finished for an antique look.

Our range is available in three lengths: the short style with a close leg opening, the Bermuda length with an inseam of approximately 46 centimeters, and the knee-length style , which extends to about 60.5 centimeters above the knee and often features a drawstring at the knee . Sizes currently range from 32 to 46. The fit is true to size for most models . If you prefer a more customized fit, you'll find styles with side lacing or lacing at the leg, allowing for flexible adjustment.

A pair of lederhosen truly comes to life when paired with the right accessories. For the top, it's best to choose a traditional blouse and a classic lederhosen jacket , which visually balances the feminine cut of the trousers. A jacket is suitable for cooler evenings , while the blouse alone is usually sufficient for warm Oktoberfest days. Haferl shoes or other traditional shoes best complement the overall look.
