The tailored cut with a flowing skirt is based on the classic women's dirndl and is also adapted to a child's proportions, allowing plenty of freedom of movement for playing and dancing. Whether it's a church fair , a family celebration , a traditional costume parade , or a visit to Oktoberfest: a children's dirndl makes every occasion a little celebration. We prioritize skin-friendly materials so that your daughter feels comfortable even during a long afternoon in the beer tent. Thus, the children's dirndl combines authentic traditional dress with child-friendly comfort.

Pure cotton forms the basis of most of our designs: 100% cotton , comfortable against the skin and robust enough for an active day with children. For some of our blouses, we use a blended fabric with a small amount of elastane, which provides extra freedom of movement, for example, when playing between rounds of games at the beer tent.Our children's dirndls are characterized by their loving attention to detail . A decorative button placket adorns the bodice, while a tie or lacing with decorative hooks sits at the waist. Delicate lace details decorate the skirt hem and collar, as well as the sleeves, complemented by a ruffled trim at the neckline. The result is a dirndl that is both beautiful and durable. 

To ensure the children's dirndl fits for multiple occasions, we offer it in six sizes, from 86-92 for the youngest children to 146-152 for elementary school children . The lacing or tie at the waist can be individually adjusted, allowing for some room for growth. A good guideline: Choose the size according to your child's current top size. If this falls between two sizes, it's best to choose the larger one; this will ensure the bodice fits well and the skirt swings at the right length .

A children's dirndl made of cotton is easy to care for if you follow a few basic rules. This way, the color and lace details will stay beautiful for many celebrations:

• Wash the dirndl on a gentle cycle at a low temperature, ideally in a laundry bag.
• Use a mild detergent for delicates without optical brighteners.
• Gently pull ruffles and lace into shape after washing.
• Let the dirndl air dry on a hanger ; this protects the material and shape.
